Infrastructure and Access

FATIH Project in Education provides following services within infrastructure services.

These services are planned to be delivered to 3362 schools in the first stage and 9052 schools in the second stage. These services, cities and contractor companies are shown below:

The healthy service of infrastructure which enables schools to access internet and MEB content services within FATIH Project in Education means access.

As a result of the infrastructure works completed in schools, the access from every classroom to all e-content and secure and filtered internet will be possible. For this, active (switches, routers, access points, etc.) and passive (cables, cable tips, patch panel, channels, uninterrupted power supply) devices will be installed in schools and internt and intranet access will be provided by data and wired connections

Network infrastructure have been installed to main buildings and additional buildings, workshops, labs and students lodgings of schools.

This above mentioned network infrastructure consists of routers, switches, access points and wiring works between these.

The installation and operation of necessary devices for the distant operation of devices in the network infrastructure is performed by the Access unit.

For the access services, so far 3100 schools in Phase-1 have functioning fiber internet connection and have access to Fatih VPN network. Also, necessary works are being completed and failures are being fixed so that the network devices in the schools (routers, switches, access points, etc.) are active and functioning.

Works for the Phase II schools are still being conducted.
