Ministry of National Education of The Republic of Turkey attended CeBIT Hannover at “FATIH Project in Education” booth.

Organized annually as the biggest fair in informatics sector, CeBIT was held on 20th-24th of March 2017 in Hannover, Germany. 70 countries and 200.000 professional visitors attended the fair. Approximately 3000 companies had booths at Hannover Messe. This year, the partner country of Hannover CeBIT was Japan and the theme was “security”.

Turkey attended the fair with FATIH Project in Education on behalf of The Ministry of National Education. In addition, 35 Turkish companies had their own booths. Most important fields were informatics, data processing, IT, telecommunication, office tools and equipment, visual technologies, banking products, electronic tools and internal design and innovations in research and development.

FATIH Project booth was very interesting

The Communication Department of the General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies, Ministry of National Education introduced FATIH Project in Education and one of its main components Educational Informatics Network (EBA). Companies planning to cooperate in various fields and educational institutions showed great interest in the MoNE booth. In addition, it was seen that countries wanting to improve in technology with new educational approaches chosen to visit the MoNE booth. Representatives from these countries were informed about FATIH Project with presentations and demanded cooperation with The Ministry. Representatives from ministries of education from many countries and telecommunication companies visited the booth.

Consul General Banu MALAMAN, Commercial Attaché Ruhi DENİZ, Hannover Deputy Educational Attaché İsmail DEMİRBAĞ and Secretary of Hannover Deputy Educational Attaché Asuman GENÇ visited MoNE boot. Just like every other Turkish citizens living in Germany, they expressed their pleasure to see Turkish representatives at the fair.
